New Sizes and Layouts for Drilling Through Workpieces When Machining With Vacuum Chucks

Source 2L inc. – Hudson, Massachusetts. 2L inc. announced today that it is accepting orders for its’ new Replaceable Aluminum Top Plates which can be used with the 2L Modular Vacuum Chucks and Large Size Vacuum Chucks, as well as many other Vacuum Chuck Systems.

The precision ground Replaceable Top Plates cover the surface of a Vacuum Chuck to allow drilling through and milling around the perimeter of workpieces without damaging the surface of the Vacuum Chuck.

Several new sizes, layouts and hole patterns to hold unique shaped parts are now available.

New Replaceable Top Plate Sizes:

• 8″ x 12″ x 3/8″ – 1″ Straight Grid Pattern
• 8″ x 12″ x 1/2″ – 3/8″ Straight Grid Pattern
• 12″ x 12″ x 3/4″ – 1/2″ Straight Grid Pattern
• 8″ x 12″ x 3/8″ – 3/8″ Circular Grid Pattern
• 12″ x 12″ x 3/4″ – 3/8″ Circular Grid Pattern
