- Profiler Engraving Tools are designed for rotary engraving, marking and cutting.
- Use Profilers to engrave small letters and lines that run close together.
- Also use for cutting out shapes from solid sheets, chamfering edges of workpieces.
- Engraves many materials:
- G style = for Harder Materials: Metals, Steels, Stainless Steel, harder Woods and many other materials.
- S style = for Softer Materials: Plastic, Aluminum, Anodized Aluminum, Acrylic, Brass, Bronze, Silver, Copper, Nickel and other soft, gummy materials. This tool is designed with much sharper clearance angles to reduce burring.
- These 6 mm metric Profilers are used:
- In a collet, end mill holder, shrink fit holder, or other rigid tool holder and marking equipment.
- These tools are not recommended for use with a Spring Loaded Engraving Tool.
- For increased tool life multiple passes and use of coolant are recommended.
- Premium, Ultra-Fine, Nano Grade Solid Carbide for maximum tool strength and durability.
