The 2D Data Matrix Tool is used for 2D Data Matrix Marking and UID Barcoding, and is also used to engrave very fine lettering and numbers, and is very effective to used to engrave plated materials that are prone to plating chipping.

Extended Tool Holder for holding 1/8" tool bits available
New
Straight Shank Engraving Tool Extension is available. 3/8" overall diameter Tool Holder is used for operations where an extra long tool is needed to reach into deep cavities or pockets and where larger diameter collet holding devices will not allow getting close enough to the cavity or pocket walls.
The Tool Holder holds 1/8” (0.125”) diameter tools and allows changing of the cutting tools from the front without removing the tool holder from the spindle.

PRO Engraving Software Program with added Photograph Importing Features is now available.
The PRO CAD/CAM Engraving Software Program now imports bitmap files or photographs and converts them into lines which can be engraved.
All three versions of the PRO Engraving Software now incorporate this bitmap importing and editing feature, PRO 1 for standard 3 axis cnc machines, PRO 2 for rotary (4) axis cnc milling machines and multi-axis lathes, and PRO 3 which allows engraving 2D Data Matrix Barcodes on 3 or 4 axis cnc machines. The bitmap importing and editing feature allows the user to import JPG, BMP and GIF bitmap images and convert them into lines which can be engraved.

PRO 3 - 2D Data Matrix Engraving Software is now available.
The PRO 3 Engraving Software Program creates G-code programs for producing 2D
Data Matrix Barcodes on 3 or 4 axis cnc milling machines or multi axis lathes.
It allows users to mark directly on parts (DPM – Direct Part Marking)
using standard 2L engraving tools and the cnc equipment they already have. There
is no special equipment or machines required to begin engraving the barcodes.

The CNC Countersink Depth Stop maintains precise countersink depth control on materials with tolerance variations.
Spring compresses up to 0.375” to compensate for material variations. The depth of cut can be adjusted in 0.001” increments.
Tool shank fits into a standard 1/2” collet or End Mill holder.
Various size collets can be used in the tool to hold countersinks up to 5/8” (0.625” - 16mm). Use with 2L Standard Countersinks or Countersinks with Pilots.
A replaceable plastic nosepiece reduces marring of the workpiece.

2D Data Matrix Barcode Scanner is now available,
for use with the PRO 3 Engraving Software Program.
2D Datamatrix Handheld Barcode Scanner reads 2D Data Matrix Barcodes that consist of Direct Part Marking (DPM) dots.
Scanner can be used with the 2L PRO 3 - 2D Data Matrix Software Program.
The barcode scanner has a standard USB interface to allow for plug and play operation. Barcode scanner has the ability to read barcodes other than 2D Data Matrix. It can decode virtually all the standard barcodes including 1D, RSS, PDF417, microPDF, EAN/UCC Composite, Matrix and Postal Codes.

Single Flute and Piloted Countersink Tools are now available for use with the
CNC Countersink Depth Stop Tool
The Countersinks with integrated pilot drills reduce chattering by allowing the pilot to closely fit into a predrilled hole.
Countersinks can be used in a Rigid Toolholder or with the new 2L CNC Countersink Depth Stop Tool.

New Carbide Point Engraving Tool - produces a very fine line on practically any material.
They can be used for marking glass, stone, ceramic, granite and other very hard materials as well as softer materials such as aluminum and brass. The Carbide Point Engraving Tool is for use with the Spring Loaded Engraving Toolholders.
The tools are especially useful for very small letters where a very fine is desired.
