Quarter Round Engraving Tool: Quarter Split Cutter
The
Quarter Round engraving tool is a solid carbide engraving cutter with a shape similar to a Standard Conical
engraving tool but with an additional split which is perpendicular to the
first split. The additional split creates greater chip clearance which makes it effective for some softer gummier materials.
This cutter is popular for engraving a wide range of materials and may also be used for chamfering edges of workpieces.
Use these engraving tools when engraving with a rigid toolholder, or with a Spring Loaded Engraving Tool, or with other engraving and marking systems.
This tool is available in two different Styles.
Choose the style you need
based on the material being engraved:
- General Purpose Style (-G) for harder
materials.
- Softer Material Style (-S) for soft/gummy materials.
