The Profiler Engraving Tool is a solid carbide engraving tool, similar in design to the Standard Conical Engraving Tool but made with a smaller included tip angle for producing a narrow cut. These cutters are used for rotating engraving of small letters that run very close together and are often used for cutting out shapes from solid sheets. Profilers engrave a wide variety of materials requiring small tools. These tools are manufactured of premium, sub micron grade carbide for maximum durability. This tool is available in two different Styles. Choose the style you need based on the material being engraved: - General Purpose Style (-G) for harder materials. - Softer Material Style (-S) for Aluminum, plastics and other soft/gummy materials. Profiler tool bits can be used with standard holders such as collets, endmill holders or shrink fit holders. Smaller tip sizes of .005" and .010" are typically not recommended for use with a Spring Loaded Tool. |
