Spring Loaded CNC Countersink Depth Stop Controls Countersink Depth on Uneven Materials

The CNC Countersink Depth Stop maintains precise countersink depth control on materials with tolerance variations.

Spring compresses up to 0.375” to compensate for material variations.
Depth of cut can be adjusted in 0.001” increments.
Tool shank fits into a standard 1/2” collet or endmill holder.
Various size collets can be used in the tool to hold countersinks up to 5/8” (0.625” - 16mm).

The replaceable plastic nosepiece uses a unique bearing design that reduces marring of the workpiece. As the tool touches the material, the nosepiece stops spinning which eliminates the potential for surface damage. The bearing system is shielded to protect against coolant, chips, graphite and composite material dust.

- Spindle speed operation range: 50 - 500 RPM.

- Maximum recommended spindle speed: 2,000 RPM.

Use slower speeds and a countersink with a pilot to minimize cutting tool chatter.
