Springs
Springs provide force against the tool bit.
A Light Tension Spring is included with each Spring Loaded Engraving Tool and is
typically used for general engraving.
Extra Light tension Springs can be used to apply less force when engraving softer materials.
Stronger tension Springs can be used to apply greater force when engraving harder materials such as Steels, Stainless and more.
- Extra Light Spring - can be used with very soft gummy materials.
- Light Spring - is included with each Spring Loaded Engraving Tool Kit
and can be used for most general purpose engraving (plastic, aluminum, etc.).
- Medium Spring - can be used for Steel, SS, Irons.
- Heavy Spring - can be used for Steel, etc., for greater depth of cut.
- Extra Heavy Spring - Can be used for Steel, etc., for greater depth of cut.
These Springs are for use with the Standard Spring Loaded Engraving Tools. |

Collets
Each Standard Spring Loaded Engraving Tool Kit includes a 3/16" collet which holds 3/16" diameter tool bits.
Purchase additional size Collets to hold a variety of diameter tool bits in the Standard Spring Loaded Engraving Tools.
These Collets collapse 1/64" (.015").
These Collets are for use with the Standard Spring Loaded Engraving Tools Catalog No's. #10870 and #10871
