  The 2L Modular Vacuum Chucks are a unique Vacuum Chuck System that eliminates the need to create custom fixtures and allows easy prototyping of workpieces.

The 8" x 12" Modular Vacuum Chucks can be used as a Single Vacuum Chuck, or combine 2, 3, 4 or more Modular Vacuum Chuck Pallets to easily increase the workholding area as needed.

Four preconfigured Vacuum Chuck Kits with 1, 2, 3 or 4 Vacuum Chucks are available.  Additional Vacuum Chuck Pallets can be added to further increase the size of your vacuum workholding area.




Modular Vacuum Chucks have Numbered locations on the face of each Vacuum Chuck which allows for quick set up and consistent workpiece placement. Additional Side and End Work Stops can assist with workpiece location and placement.

The Modular Vacuum Chucks can be also be used as a pallet workholding/fixturing system, without using the vacuum, by using the 2L Adjustable Workstops and Edge Clamps,. 

The Adjustable Workstops and Edge clamps can hold a wide variety of workpieces and can eliminate the need for custom fixtures.

Modular Vise Vacuum Chucks - Complete Details

• Modular Chucks can quickly and easily increase the workholding area.  Use a Single 8" x 12" Modular Vacuum Chuck, or combine 2, 3, 4 or more Vacuum Chucks  to increase your workholding area as needed for flexibility.
  
• Prototype Parts Quickly.  Eliminates the need to produce custom fixtures. Allows quick and flexible for set up for prototypes.
• Accurate Spacing for workpiece placement.  Each Vacuum Chuck has 77 threaded 1/4”- 20 holes with accurate 1.0” spacing for clamps. 
• 29 Vacuum Holes per Vacuum Chuck Pallet.  One horizontal row of 11 vacuum holes and 3 vertical rows with an additional 6 vacuum holes each.  The vacuum holes can be used for vacuum, for clamping, or locating the workpiece.
• Allows repeatable set up for high production.  Repeatable workpiece position between Pallets for high production. Load one Vacuum Chuck off-line while another is being machined.
• Vise Stop-Pin locates Pallet in the milling vise.
• Threaded Hole locations are labeled/numbered to allow documenting setups.
• Quick Vacuum Gasket Cord placement allows easy workpiece size changes.
• Side and End Workstops locate the workpiece consistently.
• Drill through workpieces.
  
  • Precision ground, replaceable aluminum plate (8" x 12" x 3/8") is available to cover the surface of the Vacuum Chuck. It allows drilling through or machining around the outside of workpieces without damaging the vacuum chuck. Click for more info.
  • The low slip Vacuum Gasket Sheets allow drilling through the workpieces without damage to the Pallet.
• Use as a Vacuum Chuck or a fixturing Pallet System using low profile Adjustable Edge Clamps and Workstops.
• Low profile Adjustable Edge Clamps and Workstops reduce set up time and eliminate the need for custom fixtures.
• Fits in a standard milling vise.  Hold the Vacuum Chuck in a standard milling vise or attach a Vise-Block for vise openings as small as 5”.
• Hold parts on a magnetic chuck.  The Steel Vise-Block allows holding Aluminum, Plastic, and thin workpieces on a magnetic chuck for surface grinders.
